City of Wanneroo entry signs

$0.00
With a population of over 188,000, the City of Wanneroo is one of Perth’s largest local government areas. It is a vibrant region humming with culture and thriving business, and it’s growing at an astonishing rate.

The City wanted to replace old and featureless boundary signs on some of the main arterials leading into the region. Danthonia Designs was selected via competitive tender process to develop the design concepts. The signs star a stylized kangaroo-paw motif (the city’s floral emblem) and reflect the natural setting of Wanneroo which can be described as “beach to bush”.

Danthonia also won the tender for fabrication and installation of the 8 entry signs, with 4 large and 4 smaller signs marking the city’s boundaries on Gnangara Road, Joondalup Drive, Wanneroo Road, Marmion Avenue, Indian Ocean Drive, Neaves Road, Ocean Reef Road and Alexander Drive. Installation included coordination with concurrent landscaping works and extensive traffic management.

Pictured is the new entry sign in the median near the busy intersection of Wanneroo Road and Beach Road.
