Signage for the Town of Port Hedland

Danthonia Designs has worked on several significant signage projects for Port Hedland Town Council in recent years. Five years ago we installed a large LED sign for the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema. Despite the great distance between Port Hedland and our factory, Danthonia was able to complete the project under tight deadlines. The LED sign is double sided, and supports a P10 LED screen measuring 2560 x 1600mm. The screen is controlled by a 4G data connection and the messages can be updated remotely from a phone, tablet, or laptop. The entire structure is engineered for the cyclonic events that often sweep the Pilbara Coast.

Other projects Danthonia has done for Port Hedland include a large scoreboard for the Kevin Scott Oval, interpretive wayfinding signage for the South Hedland Skatepark, and a large LED sign and directional signage for the Town’s JD Hardie Youth Centre.
